About London Muswell Hill Observatory the Opticians

London Muswell Hill optician in north London N10 celebrating 35 years in Muswell Hill. We are an independent optician offering comprehensive eye tests including Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT). We sell all major brands of contact lenses.

If you have any health concerns and/or would like us to take extra care with regards to any respiratory illness including Covid, flu or even a cold, please let us know and we will take additional precautions. Please feel free to contact us to discuss.

We have recently renovated our testing room, enlarging it and exposing the long-covered up window that overlooks north London. We also installed a powerful air exchange system.

We now offer audiology including free hearing tests, in addition to our optical services. We also have an ear wax removal service.

We are an award-winning optician. We were thrilled to win the award for best Fashion Practice in the UK at the prestigious Optician Awards. In addition:

We won the EADT Business Award for our Community Involvement in 2017.

Greg has been the Manager at Observatory in Muswell Hill since 2006. His warm and welcoming manner makes everyone feel comfortable and his expertise with frames and lenses is hard to beat.

Parking at London Muswell Hill Observatory the Opticians

There is on-street parking available but it can be busy. Payment is through RingGo. There are two car parks nearby. The first one is behind Planet Organic and the Everyman cinema at 13 Fortis Green, N10 3HR. Entrance is on Muswell Hill Road (towards Highgate). This is about a two minute walk away. Payment is through cash and phone. The other car park is behind Marks & Spencer at Summerland Gardens N10 3QP. Payment is through RingGo and there are electric car charging points. This is approximately three minutes’ walk from us.
