MOSCOT is renowned worldwide for their eyewear. This family-owned luxury brand from New York City is over 100 years old and still going strong.
MOSCOT glasses on display in our practices
MOSCOT creates glasses that are vintage-inspired. They are handmade using the highest quality materials, real hardware and hinges that are riveted through the temple and frame to ensure the sturdiest construction possible.
Every frame is available as an optical or as sunglasses, with or without a prescription. The glasses look great on both men and women.
MOSCOT carefully inspects every frame for quality control in its own labs in New York City before dispensing the frames worldwide.
The Originals collection precisely replicates styles from the MOSCOT archives from the 1930s, 40s, 50s and 60s.
The most popular frame in the Originals Collection is undoubtedly the Lemtosh. It is flattering on almost everyone – men & women (and particularly so on Jeff Goldblum, below!). It’s been worn by generations of creative and free-spirited types. Many of these frames were designed in the 1930s and are still popular today – a testament to good design!

MOSCOT also does a Sun collection. You can get any frame in a sunglass.
MOSCOT was founded by Hyman Moscot (right, pictured in 1942). He arrived from Eastern Europe via Ellis Island in 1899 and began selling ready-made glasses from a pushcart in Manhattan. He opened his first shop in New York City 1915 – see below.
MOSCOT are now in their 5th generation of the family business and their eyewear is sold worldwide. It is very rare to see a large & successful eyewear company still family-owned.
